The Phenomenauts have teamed up with Emmy Award-winning animation writer RICH FOGEL (Justice League, Batman Beyond, Transformers: Animated) to produce INFINITE FRONTIER, an animated music video based on the song from our new album FOR ALL MANKIND.

In this odyssey set in the 33 1/3 Century, the intrepid Phenomenauts journey beyond the farthest reaches of the known galaxy to discover where all of the crazy TV shows, commercials and other video ephemera that we've been beaming into space over the last 50 years actually ended up. Animated by ERICA HENDERSON (Venture Brothers/Astrobase Go), we see the heroic Phenomenauts as we've never seen them before. Additional Concept and Sound Design by ANDREW FOGEL bring this colorful space adventure to life.

We were honored with a VIP tour of the Johnson Space Center last week, which included meetings with astronauts, scientists, and hands-on experience with space station parts and training facilities.

The Phenomenauts have been invited to shoot their next music video at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston.

Along with that, which would be pretty incredible in of itself, the song "Infinite Frontier" was played on board The International Space Station as part of the ongoing STS-124 mission, where it played for the crew's first wake up. Wake-up calls are a long-standing tradition of the NASA program. Each day during the mission, flight controllers in the Mission Control Center will greet the crew with an appropriate musical interlude.

Last but not least Thanks to everyone who came out for our tour with The A.K.A.s./Maldroid it was definitely a mission going up against the tyranny of rising rocket fuel cost and at the same time rejoicing in the fact it was the Maiden Voyage of The Phenomenauts vessel the P.S.S. Hawking. From the great Northwest across to Boston/New York down to Florida across Texas and back up through California and everywhere possible in between another successful mission. Thank you.

We are on hiatus for a few months recording some new songs and possibly another video. There are plans for a West Coast Tour the first Two weeks of August with KEPI (Groovie Ghoulies) and VIC RUGGERIO (The Slackers) should be a lot of fun.
